About Me
I have grown up in the Deaf community, my sister is profoundly Deaf and I am Hard of Hearing. I learnt sign language from a young age as we all used British Sign Language at home and I qualified as an interpreter in 2018.

I spent 6 years working in education as a CSW (communication support worker) working in further education, alongside this, I also worked with a local Deaf charity.
I then worked as an in-house trainee interpreter (TSLI) with Remark! I worked here for nearly 2 years, increasing my experience working in the community and working in various domains. Whilst being at Remark! I also completed my interpreting studies then became freelance.

I have always had a passion for providing access for theatre and music and now work regularly under Theatresign and Performance Interpreting. I have worked as a freelance interpreter now for just over 7 years. More recently, I have qualified as an integrative counsellor.
